Hospitality jobs are available in cafés, restaurants, pubs, hotels, hostels, guest houses, and amusement parks across Seoul, Busan, and Daegu.

Most roles focus on customer service, simple food prep, greeting guests, or supporting daily operations.

⏱️ What is the minimum commitment?

3 months

Most employers prefer workers who can stay longer, but 3 months is the required minimum.

🗣️ Do I need to speak Korean?

Yes — basic Korean is required. You don’t need to be fluent, but you should be comfortable with beginner-level phrases.

Your Korean should be roughly equivalent to what you learn in our:

Interview timing: • If you already speak enough Korean, we can arrange online interviews before you arrive. • If you don’t, you will: 1. Join our 4-week orientation + Korean course in Daegu 2. Complete interviews during the final 2 weeks of the program

Most interviews are done in person. Expect a 2–4 week lead time before starting the job.

💰 How much does hospitality work pay?

Jobs are paid at the Korean legal minimum wage:

2025: KRW 10,030 per hour

⌛ How many hours can I work per week?

Under a Korean Working Holiday Visa: • Up to 25 hours per week

Exception: 🇨🇦 Canadians have no weekly limit on hours.

We do our best to match your preferences, but placements depend on what’s open at the time.

🎯 How does the interview process work?

We arrange up to 3 interviews for you. • We coach and prepare you for each interview. • If you’re not hired, we continue with the next interview. • If you complete all three interviews with no offer, you may qualify for a refund of the Pre-arranged, guaranteed job extra, as long as: • You followed our advice • The employer is clearly the reason for the non-hire

Booking the hospitality job extra means:

If you want more than one job: • Two hospitality jobs → Book 2 units of the Pre-arranged, guaranteed job extra. • Jobs in two categories (e.g., hospitality + childcare) → Book the total number of guaranteed jobs you want (2, 3, etc.).

Yes — many participants do!

Common combinations: • Hospitality + Childcare • Hospitality + Convenience store • Hospitality + Teaching assistant (casual)

Just make sure your total hours comply with visa rules (unless you’re Canadian).
