  • Explore historical city center & Agora
  • Visit Monastiraki flea market
  • Guided tour of the Acropolis: Propylea, Temple of Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion

⚓ Day 4: Piraeus & Archaeology

  • Tour of Piraeus port
  • Guided tour of National Archaeological Museum

🏰 Day 5: Mycenae, Nafplion & Epidaurus

  • Stop at Canal of Corinth
  • Guided tour of Mycenae: Lion Gate, Royal Tombs, Cyclopean Walls
  • Lunch in Nafplion
  • Guided tour of Epidaurus & its ancient theater

⚔️ Day 6: Marathon, Thermopylae & Aidipsos

  • Guided tour of Marathon Tomb & Thermopylae
  • Stop at Statue of Leonidas
  • Archaeological site at Artemision
  • Free time in Chalkis

⛴️ Day 7: Heraklion (Crete)

  • Ferry arrival in Heraklion
  • Tour Knossos archaeological site with Minoan Palace

🏘️ Day 8: Chania & Souda Bay

  • Guided tour of Chania’s Old & New Town
  • Tour Souda Bay, one of the Mediterranean’s deepest natural harbors

🏙️ Day 9: Athens Free Day

  • Return to Athens via Piraeus port
  • Free day for independent exploration
  • Farewell dinner in Athens

The AEA Greece 🇬🇷 Culture & History Program explores the foundations of Western civilization. From the Parthenon and Acropolis to Thermopylae and Knossos, students experience Greece’s ancient past while also engaging with its vibrant modern culture.
