Virtual Internship Overview

Dates: June 1 – August 14, 2020

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 15-20 Hours/Week (Daily Schedule TBD)

Internship Title: Research & Analysis Intern

Intern reports to: Director

This internship is hosted by an international organization that provides free legal services in both civil and criminal cases to poor people residing in Cambodia, most prominently in rural areas and focuses specifically on vulnerable and dispossessed populations.

This position would assist with research and analysis.

Intern Responsibilities

Tasks:

  • Provide research + reports on relevant case content as well as background content in current political systems and climate + human rights
  • Contribute to online training materials
  • Assist in report editing and other administrative tasks

Skills:

  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Background knowledge in politics, law, political science a plus

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a college degree program, majoring in a relevant field, or collage graduate
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA (preferred)
  • Access to computer and regular phone/internet
  • English proficiency
