Between now and NAFSA, we’d like to introduce you to our team. If you’re heading to Denver at the end of the month, we hope to see you there! Feel free to stop by our booth, #1842, or schedule a meeting with us.

Say hello to Mary, one of AEA’s awesome Conference Interns.

Destination she’s dreaming of: Everywhere! …But I want my next destination to be to in the Caribbean, specifically somewhere in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. I’m fascinated by the relationship Curaçao, St. Maarten, Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba have with their European counterpart.

Travel tip: Listen to the local radio before you go ( is great for that!). This can help with the language or dialect, as well as an understanding of what’s happening and is popular in the area. If you don’t speak the language, you should still be able to find English language stations broadcasting about the host country.

What she loves about NAFSA: NAFSA is a space where we can foster and share knowledge, as well as support each other. Although it can be large and overwhelming, the learning and connections that happen through NAFSA are the foundation to the your own endless international education encyclopedia.
